ArtKaroo pays tribute to Women, all over the world, & especially women in the Karoo.

ArtKaroo is exhibiting works featuring ‘Woman’ by artists inspired by the Karoo; Janet Dixon, Thijs Nel, Susqya Williams, Hannelie Taute, Lisl Barry, Ina Marx, Jean Tiran, Marinda Combrink, Johan van der Walt, Leanette Botha, Hendrik Gericke, Ramona Van Stavel, Adri Viljoen, supported by a collection of Francois Tiran’s female nudes.

The exhibition opened on 5 August and will run through September 2010.

What's on @ ArtKaroo during the Klein Karoo Klassique

ArtKaroo’s September/October Exhibition,

which coincides with Klein Karoo Klassique, is “Maak Jouself Tuis”, an expression of the artistic soul through the medium of the chair; functional & funky art by Karoo artists. Also featuring fine Karoo art in landscapes, figurative and abstract.

Exhibition opens 26th September at 4 PM. Klein Karoo Klassique festival takes place from the 29th September to 3rd October 2010. Enjoy High Tea or healthy vegetarian meals served in our garden for the duration of the Klassique.

ArtKaroo OUTDOORS

Ultimate Karoo outdoor art experience! ArtKaroo invites you to spend the day creatively with seasoned artists in the heart of the Karoo. Canvasses, paint, brushes and easles provided; also picnic lunch,
drinks and transport. No art experience necessary, specialists also welcome!
Sessions on 30th September and 2nd October, from 08h30 – 14H00.
